ScoreBoard !™
Do you manage the plan ? or  Does the plan MANAGE YOU?"

Scoreboard is our method of integrating project tracking into the daily operations of your engagement. Through several implementations, we found that complex work plans with elaborate resource assignments, integrated dependencies and complicated tools became more of a burden to the project than a benefit.

Why ?
Infrequency of Status:
On rapid implementations, clients often need daily and sometimes hourly progress reports.
Complexity in Administration: On large projects, the work plan update process often became a complicated game of compiling spreadsheets and files for a weekly progress report.
Project Management Software: We’ve found that most project management software used today is either too complicated or lacks the sophistication necessary to complete a full resource allocation. Also, the more complicated the software, the more companies seem to invest in organizations to ‘learn’ this tool. This adds cost to the project infrastructure.
Lack of a Distributed Platform: The team leaders who actually manage the project need quick, easy to understand statistics to make decisions ON DEMAND.

Time based planning is only one aspect of effective project management. It’s often too complex or not worth the investment to build a methodology’s dependencies or resources into a project management tool.

We’re firm believers in disciplined project management and work plan administration. Scoreboard has all dependencies built directly within the tool and can quickly interface to most project management software tools for summary statistics. We also provide custom views by Team Leader that integrate with our Requirements Based Philosophy.
